FINNMAP’s land registration project in the spotlight
The Government of Finland published an assessment report conducted by the Cabinet of Finland of the impact and coherence of the National Development Policy. The goal on the national exercise was to evaluate and assess the adaptation of the modern Finnish Development Policy as a central part of the National Foreign and Security Policy.
The FINNMAP project in Cambodia was chosen as a highlighted example of a successful implementation of the revised practices and guidelines to implement Finnish Development Cooperation.
Although the extreme poverty has decreased, there still remains much to be done in developing countries to improve the rights and wellbeing of individuals. FINNMAP will continue to partner with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in further improving the human rights in the cooperation countries, by developing sustainable solutions, providing technical assistance and implementing effective projects.
