FM-International Oy FINNMAP is an independent, privately owned consulting company with major activities in land management and administration, aerial photography, remote sensing, digital mapping, surveying and GIS. Our company also provides services in geodetic surveys, photogrammetry, cartography, photo laboratory work, mosaicking, GIS development, land registration, cadastral mapping as well as various photo and satellite image interpretation features such as forest inventory and classification, land use, soil and population classifications, forest management planning, terrain modelling and volumetric and profile measurements.

Lately FINNMAP's overseas assignments have focused on South-East Asia, Asia, East- and Northern Africa, Central America and Eastern Europe and a number of other countries on a single mapping assignment basis.

Our main clients consist of bilateral development co-operation agencies, the United Nations, the Commission of the European Union, Development Banks and other international organizations.

FINNMAP has been Finland's leading mapping and surveying company since 1951. During the last fifteen years FINNMAP has become well known operator around the world, operating outside Finland. Recently FINNMAP returned home and is now working again also in Finland. The company's headquarters is located in Helsinki.
